A pair comes in the box when you purchase any of our HD Hitch range!
The Prop Cleats are fastened to either end of the spine of the pull-out awning to provide anchor points for the guy ropes so the awning may be set freestanding.
These glass reinforced nylon components (made of the same stuff as the HD Hitches themselves!) attach to the spine of a pull-out awning enabling a pull-out awning to be pitched freestanding with the aid of 2 tent poles fitted with C clips and guy ropes.
(Unfortunately, poles, C clips, tent poles and guy ropes are not included)
Extra pairs of Prop Cleats can be purchased in our store if you need to attach them to more than one of your awnings.
An in-depth HOW TO... blog is coming soon to explain just exactly how you can set your awning up, leave it at your camp site or beach and drive away without your awning off the side of your vehicle!
